No, the dog did not survive. He brought home the piece of meat that poisoned him and it was riddled with Drain-O.

Nothing could be proved but there is no doubt. The dog was a little quiet wiener type dog, never barked. Rural. Big yards no fences, all the neighbors dogs socialized as much as the neighbors did. Just put that out there to say it was not a vicious dog situation.

The only revenge I could get was when it came time to burn leaves in the fall. Always made sure to light the pile on one of those nice fall days when windows are open and the wind was blowing in his direction.

Waited till he went to the store with his house windows open. Then lit the pile of leaves and filled his house with smoke while he was away.
