I've read that plenty of posters wonder if he is gay, but frankly... when I look at JVDS, I seriously wonder if his obvious rage & misogyny is because he is impotent.......
I have no idea how things like that are done in Peru.
Hmmm....interesting!
Exactly~! How refreshing!
Now to see what the press conference in the morning brings. 8D
Didn’t they find two coke bottles in the room. One empty and the other half full? Is this how he administered the date rape drug?
The money came from Beth’s attorney who has been trying to bring Joran to justice for years!
2005
Twitty’s attorney, John Q. Kelly, apparently had the moves of the Vandersloots under extreme scrutiny. The Vandersloot parents had flown to NYC for an interview with ABC .. Joran was en route from the Netherlands to NYC to meet with them.

According to Jossy Mansur, when Paulus van der Sloot cleaned out his desk at the courthouse in Aruba, it wasnt because he quit, it was because he was banned. According to Jossy, Paul is not allowed to enter a courtroom anymore unless it is for civil matters.
******
From Page 111 of Jorans book:
Tuesday May 31st 2005
Joran rides bus to school, takes exam, visits with principal Werner and sleeps in sick bay.
Paul calls school at 10:30am. Jan van der Straten wants Joran to give a voluntary witness statement, since the family was creating quite some noise.
Paul meets with principal, then he and Joran head to Bubali Station.
Joran calls Deepak who says, stick to our story, the police has also phoned Satish and me and asked us to come.

Attorney John Q. Kelly said the fact that the powers that be are not going to allow Karin Janssen to finish the job even though she claims she wanted to.
* she had made a request in writing, very much wanted to stay there, see this investigation through and she was told her term was going to be halted three years and shed be returning to Amsterdam and she couldnt see this through.
* she was upset about that. She and I was glad to hear, wanted to stay on this case and see it to some sort of conclusion and they wouldnt let her.
John Q. Kelly, the Holloway family attorney who set up the sting operation on May 10.
Here is how it unfolded:
Sources confirm that the plan started in early April. Kelly was engaged in email traffic back and forth with Joran van der Sloot for some time prior to Easter Sunday. Kelly traveled to Aruba on or about Easter, met with van der Sloot and began to set the stage. Kelly was seeking information as to what happened to Natalee Holloway and was seeking that information for his clients, the parents of Natalee Holloway. For reasons unclear, Kelly did not get the information on Easter Sunday but returned to the United States and made contact with the FBI.
Kelly, with the FBI, and with the assistance of Aruban law enforcement, set up the sting operation for May 10. A hotel room in Aruba and a car were both equipped with videotape equipment so that the crime could be caught on tape.
The plan was to tape van der Sloot extorting money from Beth Holloway via her lawyer. Van der Sloot was given $10,000 cash (he counted it twice on tape) which is the extortion count and was wired $15,000 (wire fraud count.) The FBI has all the bank information for the bank transfer. The method of money transfer - cash and wire - was deliberate part of the plan in order to set up these two crimes.
Once the crime was committed on tape - it was - the FBI planned to make arrangements to arrest van der Sloot. The FBI arrest obviously did not happen. Kelly spent several hours being taped with van der Sloot. The FBI has the entire tape. The Aruban authorities do not have the tape.
3 days after Van der Sloot was caught on tape committing the two planned crimes, he boarded a flight from Aruba to Colombia and on to Peru. The Aruban Attorney General told me that the FBI was warned that van der Sloot was leaving the country but that the FBI did not move.
At no time after he left the country, per my sources, was Kelly told by the FBI that the FBI had “lost” van der Sloot. Instead, Kelly was - it apears - mislead by the FBI into thinking an arrest was imminent.
After the murder in Peru, the US Attorney in Alabama unsealed an Amended Criminal Complaint charging van der Sloot with extortion and wire fraud (per the original plan.) What is not known is what was Amended or when the original Criminal Complaint was filed (it was apparently under seal.) Both these pieces of information could be helpful in better understanding what happened.
What is still not fully explained - is why the FBI did not act. It appears the crime was “delivered” to them on May 10 and in the best possible manner: on tape.
More to come.

I see where Kelly handed over the money but I haven't seen where it was HIS money. Could it have belonged to someone else and he acted as the courier/representative?
I do love this. 8D
My first thought on the tidal info, knowing what we do about the perp in question, is that he wanted to know what time was good to dump a body into the sea that would become shark food.
The Birmingham FBI issued a statement explaining that they were NOT attempting to arrest Joran for the white collar crime of extortion, that they NEVER had that intention, but that they seriously believed that he would lead them to the remains of Natalee, when they would arrest him for murder.
So Gretched is releasing INACCURATE information.
IMNSHO, people should BEWARE of cults, particularly one with the magnitude of a notorious reputation like Scientology, and not only of cults but the people who belong to them, like Greta van Susteren and her husband John Coale who are long time Scientologists and long term D.C. Democrat insiders.
WHY would any alleged newsperson spend a week trashing the FBI on TV????????
I have seen discussions that it could be Beth Holloway's or Greta van Susteren's or Murdock's FOX NEWS' funds, or John Kelly's law firm's stash or maybe monies from the Reward Fund set up years ago.
Right now, I'm inclined to favor the discussions where posters suspect that it is Greta's money, which she planned on lending to the operation for a few hours, in exchange for an exclusive on the arrest of JVDS for extortion.
The FBI statement, however, makes it clear that they were NOT trying to set him up for extortion, but for MURDER.
I agree with posters on other boards who find Gretched's continuing nasty diatribes about the FBI to be suspicious.
Maybe some day the truth about who provided the money will come out????
And maybe not.
This is my NEXT to last posting on this thread. Would you both KINDLY please read it? It is an article which shows that Scientologist Cultist Gretched is inaccurate and IMNSHO very suspicious in her bashing of the FBI.
Thank you for please reading the article that I am now posting to this thread.
Bye, bye!
FBI Official Responds to Blackmail Sting Criticism
Posted by Edecio Martinez, Barry Leibowitz
NEW YORK (CBS) - The FBI is defending its failure to arrest murder suspect Joran van der Sloot on extortion charges in the Natalee Holloway case, saying they were getting closer to making a murder arrest in that case, and didn’t want to blow the investigation.
[....]
“According to the official, the FBI felt that for the first time in five years they were on the brink of finding Natalee
Holloway’s body.
The FBI says it was receiving statements from van der Sloot about how and where he hid the body. Aruban officials, along with FBI agents, “were working this very intensely,” including looking at blueprints, making plans to dig and bring in cadaver dogs.
“We were not trying to build a white collar extortion case. We were trying to solve the crime,” the senior official told CBS News.
The official said there was no evidence van der Sloot, now 22, was a serial killer or about to commit another crime.....”

I have no idea why Governor Palin would ever consider becoming BFFs with Gretched van Susteren, known Democrat Scientologist, and who recently has spent much of her show time bashing the FBI.
I want to alert you to this statement of the FBI, who, in direct contradiction of what the Scientologist is spewing on the airwaves, did NOT provide JVDS the $25,000, and more importantly, that the FBI was investigating murder and was NOT attempting to set up JVDS for the white collar crime of extortion.

Aside to all:
DO NOT PING ME TO THIS THREAD; I will NOT discuss any of this anymore, I do NOT associate with FBI-bashers any more than I associate with freepers who are CIA-bashers.
