To me the word “qualification” as it applies to the POTUS means someone who understands the Constitution as it relates to the three Branches of Government and the limitations of each. There are no Democrats out there that understand that basic “qualification” and it seems there are few Republicans brave enough to refute their agenda.
Sarah was propelled into the limelight, like many other Vice Presidential contenders have been over the years, yet she continues the struggle for Conservative Values rather than slinking into the shadows like many of her predecessors.
Irregardless of your position concerning Sarah, who do you see from the Conservative Republican wing of the Republican Party that will be ready and willing to run for the Presidency in 2012?
BTW, outside of home schooled Children, there are no 5th Graders that have a clue about the Constitution. Did you mean to compare Governor Palin to a 5th Grader?
Your opinion is your opinion and I respect it. Time will tell whether we as Conservatives will help save this Country or become slaves to the Utopian Progressives.
How unfortunate that there are only a few lone voices speaking for us. Like it or not, Sarah is one of those few.

What does that tell you? It tells me that even on FR, which is essentially a fish bowl filled with exotic conservative fish that offer little representation of the pond they were pulled from, that Sarah can't gain enough traction. Out in the pond she's little more than late night humor, and you're just going to have to live with that. I'll tell you straight up that her future is as a celebrity, a politically conservative Kardasian, not as a politician. She'll never hold office again. Take that to the bank.

Yes the media will always try to destroy a conservative candidate. Doesn’t mean they will be successful in every case, some may be better equipped to withstand an assault. I have no way to know if a true conservative IS electable. All we can do is try.

We must have different defintions of obsession. I post and respond to a wide variety of topics here. There are plenty of posters who myopically focus on one topic. I’m not one of them.
