DETROIT -- A woman trying to add sugar to her coffee drove off Oregon 22 and 40 feet down into the Santiam River.
Trena Fiels, 42, of Detroit suffered minor injuries in the 9:29 a.m. accident, according to Oregon State Police.
Fiels was westbound on Oregon 22 west of Big Cliff Dam and Detroit Lake when police said she tried to add the sugar.
She drove off the roadway, overcorrrected to the left across a wide shoulder turnout and went 40 feet down to the river. Fiels was belted.
‘I constantly order a damn fine cup of coffee. It always gets a strange reaction, my desired effect.’
You should do the quick follow up after the waitress serves it to you and “damn good coffee! and hot!”.
See what kind of reaction you get then! LOL!
Detroit, Oregon.
