I always found it ironic that the pro-commies in the west never actually lived under the system of government they supposedly support. “Useful Idiots” indeed.
This boycott is just another advantages Arizona received from the law.
Sleazestak is the least of their payola scandals. Obama may have traded a judicial nomination (for a brother of a Senator) for a Senator’s vote on Obamacare.
Can’t tell an instrumental guitar player to shut up and sing.
I can never figure out why they think our country should fall in line with their belief system rather than that they should move to a country that already is communist.
Kanye = Douchebag
Rolling Stone, another dying Commie rag written by gray-haired 60’s radicals and their younger Marxist spawn.
Note how silent Rolling Stone is on Illegal Immigrant Crime.
Kanye: “I’m not gay and I sure as hell ain’t no damn fish!”
Wrong on music.
Wrong on Politics.
Kayne...a clownish Black racist at his core.
Ping!
Peoples’ Exhibit #2, your Honor...Ignorance lives...
Massive Attack is kind of disappointing. But not really surprising. They changed their name during the Gulf War as a form of protest, so they’re clearly idiots.
Conor Oberst, an emo/indie doofus who calls himself “Bright Eyes”, is Exhibit A in the case for rock n’ roll being completely dead.
Out of everyone who has protested this law, the only one I don’t think is a hypocrite is Shakira, mostly because in interviews in the past she has said that she’s ok with people downloading her song online and not paying for it.
Very true.
I was going to buy the 20th Anniversary “Surfing with the Alien” reissue with the DVD after checking it out the other day at a friends house.
I guess I will show solidarity and just make an illegal copy from my friends set then make a few extra to share with others since law breaking is such an acceptable practice.
Sonic Youth is my absolute favorite band of all time. Thank goodness I can separate their music (which is awesome) from their politics (which are execrable).
One problem with your comparison, Zac Efron never took steroids. From what I’ve seen, Efron has been in the fairly harmless High School Musical movies and he’s been dating his co-star from those movies for a few years now. Plus he’s a cutie and not a bad role-model.
My point is he’s not an “important” musician.
Then again John Edwards’ scampaign was touted on that cover as well. They love their poster idols.
