I have a hard time believing that Perry is involved in anything against Obama. The man is a sleazeball, a crony, a sycophant and a joke.
Whatever he’s up to will come to light soon enough, but I wouldn’t count on him doing right by Texans.
Just a note of caution. Congress.org has nothing to do with the US Congress. It is like a ‘letter to the editor’ site. For all you know, any 12 year old could write that- literally. I can’t find any ref to this from a legit source out there.

Also, I remember when that article was published, about America breaking up. We all took that as a load of BS, that the guy is insane. But now it actually looks plausible.
Our forbears should have stepped up in 1934 and said a loud, resounding “NO” with arms in hand to the Congress.

I contacted gov Perry’s office today about this story... spoke with Aston in their media dept... she had heard of the story, but was not able to confirm nor deny its validity.
she forwarded me to another staffer that was in the campaign office and more likely know more. he had the same level of info.
so... end result, I cannot say if this is a hoax or not.
on the upside, while on hold, the governors audio blurbs were refreshing and encouraging. anti big govt and anti fed taxation while also pro business. now, I have no direct experience with his policies (I’m in FL), it was nice to hear some sanity for once.
