We had a doberman when I was a kid. My brother used to love hopping on his back, grabbing his ears, and riding him like a pony. It was no surprise when one day that dog reared back and planted a few canines into my brother’s face.
We almost NEVER hear about what was transpiring before and during the attack. It’s like when the media says, “The gun went off.” Sure it went off, that’s what happens when you have your finger on the trigger!
Pitbulls are like guns. They’re amazing protectors and trustworthy companions, but misuse or abuse them, and you or someone else WILL be hurt.
