The gulf disaster only makes the tar sands bigger and worth more every day. As if it isn’t big and worth enough without the gulf gusher. On land OIL drilling is the way to go. Not a mile out at sea. The reason the gulf is bleeding is because tree huggers whined about oil drilling so they decided to go miles off shore and are having a hell of a time capping since it so deep, but I do bet you they could have capped it already but BP don’t want that done till the relief drilling takes over. That way they don’t lose their investment. This is what you get when you drill more than a mile underwater. You don’t have that problem in Canada, cause the vast reserves are in the cold, dark ground. I still say obama and the americans should have waltzed in there two weeks after it ruptured and capped it. They could have done it but money talks, especially when it comes to oil.
