I don’t know whose motivations you are referring to, but both Wedmore and Linus didn’t have any boundaries. With themselves, with each other, or with anyone they perceived as a threat. I don’t think either Linus or Wedmore were bound by a boundary.

I was referring to Jacob. On that note, exactly what boundaries did Kate ever respect and in what sense was she ever redeemed? Is it that by helping Claire deliver Aaron in both lines, she redeemed herself? If so, is there no atonement due to the Marshal Kate kept assaulting?
