He he. To be honest, I hadn’t thought of this one in the midst of their and they’re mix-ups as well as possessives posing as plurals, interchangeable possessive pronouns and other assorted errors. Says a lot about the state of education to tell the truth.

Most newspapers rely on spell check, and have long since cut the proofreaders. Moreover they don’t really give a damn about accuracy or quality of the product anymore.
My local paper wrote an op ed this past week lauding “Ron Brown”, the new Senator from Mass. And yet they get all pissy about Wikipedia because “anyone can edit things”. But Wikipedia is reviewed by peers, unlike the daily fish-wrapper, which is reviewed by no one.
