What ever happened to just cheering? It used to be “school spirit” not gymnastic competitions.
How are doing these gymnastic moves getting the crowd all excited about the game?

in many of these schools, the game is secondary to the cheer squad. some of the cheer squads draw bigger crowds than the team.

Yeah, cheering and good looking girls in skimpy outfits. I loved our cheer leaders and not one of them could do a back flip or tuck and roll. They did make up some catchy cheers however.
