Armadillos are no longer plentiful in TX as they once were.
They became road kill—and these days, I hardly ever see on—dead or alive.

The fire ants have about wiped the out here. Maybe if they escape to the north, they will take the fire ants with them.

I have one visit my yard every now and then. There are PLEENTY of armadillos down at the farm near Giddings.

I don’t see them because they are nocturnal but I sure see those peculiar little coned shaped holes they leave in my yard.
