Megan Fox Dropped From 'Transformers 3'

Megan Fox has been axed from "Transformers 3," Access Hollywood has confirmed. A source at Paramount, the studio behind the film, told Access that Megan, who played star Shia LaBeouf's love interest in the franchise, would not return for the third movie.

The source said that in order to take Shia's character - Samuel James Witwicky -- in a new direction, it was better if Sam wasn't tied down to a love interest. On Wednesday night, however, reps for the actress told People that it was Megan's decision to leave the movie.

Shia LaBeouf a week or so ago publicly apologized for Transformers 2. He said they dropped the ball on that one and would try harder for Transformers 3.

I don’t know. I haven’t seen either 1 or 2. Just passing it along.

>>>She was kicked because she’s an insufferable twit and egomaniac.

“Who cares? She’s hot”

In a forgettable plastic mannequin way I suppose. I don’t detect much of substance within. Some wit and personality would take her a long way. Won’t happen.

Let me translate. In "Transformers 3" the Witwicky is going to be gay.

I agree. The only good thing in Transformers 2 was the scene at the very end when the military comes to the rescue. That is my Marine son driving the amphibious assault vehicle in that. They filmed him during training exercises. My only claim to fame. LOL! I will probably buy the movie just to watch that scene over and over and over ad nauseum. LOL!

Pearl Harbor was way too cheesy, but at least it portrayed Americans as unambiguous heroes.

Yeah, but they had Alec Baldwin portraying Jimmy Doolittle. Some crimes can never be forgiven. That is one of them.

My first thought, too.

Everyone knows Sam (or Spike in the cartoon) is supposed to end up with Carly anyway.

Oh let me tell you... This is who Witwicky is styled after:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1022429/

Its a gift from Spielberg to Lucas. And oh what a gift it is.

“McCoy needs bigger scenes in the next one”

You shall get no argument from me :-). Karl Urban had that character nailed. I crack up every time he is on screen. What did it for me was the “green blooded hobgoblin” quote.

I have the BluRay ... I sometimes think I am on a mission to wear that disc out :-)! I seriously cannot get sick of that movie.
