You’ve seen her in worse? Really? Well...I guess the biggest problem here is that it’s a state dinner. I think we have to look at this culturally folks. Her friends and relatives problem thinks she looks smashing. I think it has something to do with cultural tastes more than universal tastes. To us it’s disgusting but to her it’s beauty.

well i hate to tell ya....i lived in ft lauderdale as a teen in the 60’s and we DID go all around barefoot then. Maybe Jackie was at Hyannis Port and had just gotten out of the ocean? Hard to imagine that lady going barefoot anywhere however.
