Well if you don’t care to know how the universe around you works then no. Hell, Jupiter has 63 moons, the moon has craters, a tree falls in the freakin woods. The point is, now we know. Maybe in 100 years we’ll think of some use for meson decay but for now it was absolutly worth it to make this discovery. I’ve thought of this issue myself from time to time and now I know that all the matter in the universe was created from a 1% varience in the creation of matter vs. antimatter.

What is mind? No matter.
What is matter? Never mind.

So, what you are saying is that it just doesn’t matter.

I wanna see. Those scientists at CERN ought to put out some model video or something. The 8 year old in a lot of people want to see stuff blowing up.

Don't encourage them.

The seemingly inescapable fact that matter and antimatter particles destroy each other..

Ya know, I've been thinking. That phrase is just so hateful and mean spirited. And the word 'antimatter' borders on Hate Speech. It's very discriminatory.

So I think Congress should pass a new law, of Physics.
And why not?... they pass everything else.

If matter didn't win over antimatter, we wouldn't be here... Cool.

It's odd how great minds come up with the obvious - the "obvious" that all of us would miss for eternity...

Thanks for the ping.

What I did not expect was Obama to be so ideologically blinded that he would make the political blunder of criticizing an American state and its lawfully elected legislative body at a press conference in lock step with a foreign head of state.

It's a compound interest problem over sufficient time and 1% is enough give total victory. There's pretty much no anti-matter around that we can see. Anti-matter that dies in our instruments before you can say "Obama gave us health care!" doesn't count.
