Faroq (not even going to try to spell that) sponsors these pagents because he owns one of the largest hair care companies. A quick Google search showed he also sponsored Carrie Prejean.
I submit she may just say she is Catholic to avoid being murdered.
If her parents are indeed Lebanese Christians, that is a tough life. I read Brigitte Gabriel’s book “Why They Hate”, and the war waged against them by the Lebanese muslims was horrific.
