You know, that's not entirely accurate. She had that horrible accident back in the very early 70s - either in Vegas or Tahoe - where she badly damaged her face, and several of her limbs. I believe she was in a coma for a period of time. He face had to be partially reconstructed, and she did lose control of some of her facial muscles.
I can live with that.

I think she fell off the stage while doing her act in Vegas. Yep, had to have much surgery....
