Was just watching Laura Ingraham on O'Riley. They were discussing the socialist/redistributive nature of "universal health care", and when the fact that Canadians live on average three years longer than Americans was brought up, she said it wasn't necessarily due to them having better health care...and then she said
"We have guns".
I'm still in shock.
When did she turn anti gun?
And if she's not, what the heck is she thinking.
she was being facetious!!!
That’s possible, but I did not get that impression.
If you remove the inner city populations, then our life expectency is equal to Canada’s.
If you remove the inner city populations, then our life expectency is equal to Canada’s.
Inner city gang violence might skew our mortality figures, I dunno.
That would make sense to me.
Hopefully someone will run a study to show that anyplace libtards have been running for a few years becomes more dangerous.
For those who don’t know how to use common sense & really need it explained to them.
What she really meant to say was that we have more African Americans and illegal immigrant gang members. These “yooths” tend to kill each other off at a young age, thereby reducing the life expectancy of the general population.
Flippant. Canada has more guns per capita than USA does
I think the easiest way to say it is Americans of Scandinavian ancestry live as long as do Canadians of Scandinavian ancestry.
You can take it from there. Eventually you will find American groups that do not live as long as white Canadians. They don't live as long as white Americans either. However, Canada is suffering from a critical shortage of such people so it skews the results.
Gun deaths, by themselves, do not occur frequently enough to change the statistics, although I do have my questions about skimobile accidents ~ they've gotta' do something, or the Canadians are running a big cover-up to protect the tourist industry.
Probably a reference to the higher murder rate here, especially among the younger crowd which might skew the numbers.
Death rates are tracked differently outside of the US. Plus more high risk pregnancies go to term which accounts for a higher infant mortality rate.
But some Americans continue to vote long after they are dead
On balance, one can argue that good people using guns save as many or more lives than are taken by people using them for ill.
Actually we have large inner cites where people kill each other all the time.
It’s called sarcasm
She not anti gun but we do have an awful lot of inner city kids killing each other every day that has a major impact on what our life expectacy is.
“more high risk pregnancies go to term which accounts for a higher infant mortality rate.”
Accounts for most of the difference.
If you remove the inner city populations, then our life expectency is equal to Canadas.
Your absolutely right. But we’re so damn PC crazy she didn’t dare say it that way. And let’s not be so quick to eat our own please ?
