    You go girl!
If you can get him to pay you what you want, that is American Capitalism at its finest!
That will be a fun show — old people can finally compete.
And AI will be in the dustbin of history (this has been the worst year ever, especially for the judges).
Ping to silent_jonny who hosts the AI thread — and I am sure will be hosting the XF threads in the future :)

I fell out of the habit of regularly watching AI several seasons ago, and haven’t seen a single episode this year. Paula Abdul was becoming an incoherent babbler way back then. She had little constructive to say, just inspirational pap, and even that devolved to gibberish on occasion. Some attributed this to substance abuse of some form. I have no idea what was behind it, but she left everyone scratching their heads on numerous occasions.
I don’t see what value she’d add to any new venture as a result. Cowell should judge her as he judges AI contestants. She wouldn’t make it to the next round.

What diva? This is business, she is either worth that much or she isn’t

To: DBCJR
I’m surprised she remembers anything about Idol. She seemed either drunk or on drugs most of the time, to me. Simon is crazy to hire her. Does anyone miss her on Idol? Anyone?

Abdul has leverage in that she can claim AI’s ratings demise this season on her departure. Although, I doubt that has much to do with it...AI has become a train wreck. Other than Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, the show has not uncovered much real talent.

The source adds that Abdul and Cowell who used to come to blows as judges on Idol

Ummm....

Considering the fact that I have never seen a single episode of American Idol,

And I haven't watched any TV in over four years,

I'm not EVEN going to ask for some additional data on the above statement...
