Harley; been there, done that, not repeating. Honda forever.
My first 2 street bikes were Hondas. Then I owned a Suzuki, then another Honda. Bought my first Harley, and I’m now on my 5th. I can’t imagine ever wanting a Honda again.
That’s okay... I love ‘em all, but I never miss a chance to bark out a wisecrack. ;>)
I have had good fortune and great times with my bikes.
I traded off our 2000 Ultra Classic about 2 months ago, using it toward the purchase of a new Tundra. I will keep the 2002 Road King Classic for now, but because of health issues and age, I have had to slow way down on riding .
The last time I went on a run was 3 years ago, right before my heart surgery. We took the RK... and during a 30 day vacation, we crossed the USA and back, putting on over 9,000 trouble free miles.
I miss those days, but I have adjusted to other passions. Now we will be traveling in my Tundra pulling an Airstream trailer.... it’s not the same and I will no doubt envy my dog when he sticks his head out the window at 70 mph. ;>) Harley’s forever.
