You know. BP’s incompetence in this. Beyond criminal

You will never convience me that this was not intentional. The timing could not be better for the libs and BP had to much to loose. This was not an accident.

Big zero had everything to gain from this and BP had nothing to gain from this. Do the math.

What does Obama have to gain from this exactly?

This calls his leadership into question and could cause the federal government billions to trillions of dollars once BP is tapped out and the politicians of both parties in our region decide that demagoging this against the federal government with demands for money could be a great way to stay in power.

And I think BP did have something to gain. I think they thought in the beginning they could control this and so they engaged in strategic PR assuming they could get it under control and the government was eager to assist them.

When it became apparent that they couldn’t they still withheld the truth a bit longer to try and prevent a consumer backlash within the region earlier than it is coming. And it will come. I look for most of the BP stations in this area to close within a year of when the beaches turn black.
