Do you ever feel like things are speeding up?

Posted on 05/07/2010 7:14:05 PM PDT by Raebie

And there are so many things being thrown at you, that you don't know what to focus on?

It's like this administration is trying to accomplish just that.

Book of 5 Rings...

To Cause Loss of Balance
Many things can cause a loss of balance. One cause is danger, another is hardship, and another is surprise.

To Know "Collapse"
Everything can collapse. Houses, bodies, and enemies collapse when their rhythm becomes deranged.
In large-scale strategy, when the enemy starts to collapse, you must pursue him without letting the chance go. If you fail to take advantage of your enemies' collapse, they may recover.

That is one of the tactics of Communist Revolutionaries. Overwhelm the system and the opponents.

Yes, I have read it and have it as a reference. The homie’s time in the Treasury box is getting shorter...hopefully. Depends on how many Rinos Sarah elects.

This is why so many prizefighters wade in and begin pummeling the other fighter; they intend to hit the other so many times that the opposition cannot recover and cannot mount a counterattack. Klintoon said it right when he said of The Messiah: “He’s just a Chicago thug.”

Canticle for Liebowitz — hadn’t thought of that in a long time. It is fitting.

It started the day after Obama was elected.

He couldn't wait to set up his transition team and started taking over immediately.

He's hitting us from all angles, barely giving us time to focus on one huge issue before he starts on another. It's like he's on 'speed' or listening to someone who is taking it.

Something is definitely not right.

And it’s not just the issues he’s pushing. It’s that and everything in the news. I’m starting to feel like the only thing that hasn’t been ‘engineered’ is the flood in TN

And after a couple of drinks, I even wonder about that. ;-)

Remember his putting that "Office of the President-Elect" sign all over everything?

Remember David Brooks and that other columnist (Collins) from the New York Times, right after the election, who were saying (on broadcast news as I recall) that Bush should just step down and let BO start being President immediately, in NOVEMBER?

Remember how BO was trying to bully Bush into letting him live in Blair House before it was the proper time to do so?

The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse

Their strategy to create political, financial, and social chaos that would result in revolution blended Alinsky concepts with their more aggressive efforts at bringing about a change in U.S. government. To achieve their revolutionary change, Cloward and Piven sought to use a cadre of aggressive organizers assisted by friendly news media to force a re-distribution of the nation’s wealth.

I agree. I have told my kids how sorry I am that their America won’t be like mine (growing up). This administration is going full-throttle. Hit us rapidly, every day, to make it hard to fight back, let alone get up.

No matter where the strategy is implemented, it shares the following features:

The offensive organizes previously unorganized groups eligible for government benefits but not currently receiving all they can.
The offensive seeks to identify new beneficiaries and/or create new benefits.
The overarching aim is always to impose new stresses on target systems, with the ultimate goal of forcing their collapse.

Overwhelm the system in hope of people becoming apathetic.

Exactly. Desensitization of shock-and-awe leads to, "Meh, whatever..."

Moreover, this kind of mass influence is cumulative because benefits are continuous. Once eligibility for basic food and rent grants is established, the drain on local resources persists indefinitely.

The next time you drive through one of the many blighted neighborhoods in our cities, or read of the astronomical crime, drug addiction, and out-of-wedlock birth rates, or consider the failed schools, strapped police and fire resources of every major city, remember Cloward and Piven’s thrill that “...the drain on local resources persists indefinitely.”

ACORN’s voter rights tactics follow the Cloward-Piven Strategy:

1. Register as many Democrat voters as possible, legal or otherwise and help them vote, multiple times if possible.
2. Overwhelm the system with fraudulent registrations using multiple entries of the same name, names of deceased, random names from the phone book, even contrived names.
3. Make the system difficult to police by lobbying for minimal identification standards.
