I LOVES me some a that good ole Mountain Dew!
I still get excellent Kentucky shine from my brother and we love soaking strawberries or pears in the shine for couple days and then eat our daily serving of fruit on the back porch. Great times!

Believe it or not, this Kentucky girl just had her first taste of moonshine over the weekend. A neighbor of my daughter’s in Kansas City, brought some to a party. Raspberries soaked in moonshine. I haven’t missed much in my 58 years. Yuck!

I loves me some too. I like to fill a fresh watermelon with a quart, let it sit for a couple of days, then make some hunch punch with it. Gotta be careful, it will sneak up on ya quicker than a snake.
