Okay, here are my favorites in no particular order: Lagavulin, Bowmore, Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Talisker. Even Oban is a little smoky, but not Islay. Hubby bought me a bottle of Cuairt-Beatha for Christmas, and it’s smooth but a bit too “123.2 proof” to suit me.
