The man is a legend. I grew up in the 80s listening to him and Paul Carey, then I believe in 92 a new owner came in and forced the two of them out. This was a ridiculous idea and enraged almost all Tiger fans. When the team changed hands again several years later they brought Ernie back. Anyone know what Paul Carey is up to these days?

Listening to Ernie was a unique experience. It total ear candy to hear Ernie call a game. What a loss.
