We live in a culture of denial today and it is disgusting. It is especially disgusting that so called “conservatives” refuse to fight harder on these issues. We defend marriage but won’t take on directly a bunch of activists who openly tolerate the targeting of underage boys. Its in their literature, its in their iconography, it is in their efforts to rollback the age of consent at a time when young people are even less capable of making adult decisions than possibly ever before.

I agree with all your points.....especially this one. At 17, I was much more mature than most 30yr olds nowadays. We live in a culture that is almost surreal in what kids expect from their parents and society to provide them.

Obviously, this kids craved what he couldn't have....and made some really bad (immature) choices...in order to get them. The story said he had a girlfriend he was wanting to impress and needed the car and cash to do this.

IMHO the man probably pushed some buttons with this kid..... which caused him to snap. Why else would he have given up the cash cow? Did the guy threaten to expose him to his gf/peers if he didn't do what he wanted? The story is vague.
