"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Thanks for the ping.
Johnny Dollar wins over Phillip Marlowe (XM). Besides XM runs the same episode several times.

Johnny Dollar never padded an expense account. I wish the host would leave off on that.

Variety is great.
The three regular shows at the top of the line-up every week (YTJD, Dragnet & Gunsmoke) are right among my all time favorite shows.

I could go for some fishing in the Gulf.
The shows are good but a little mix up could be nice.

The way I heared it, the host mentions a “padded” expense account. Sadly, tonight, I heard, for the first time, an indication that Johnny might be a bit loose. He said he included three days of fishing and all the “incidentals” he could think of.
