Interesting correlation, the facts say much the same thing about gun bans.

But it's the
wrong correlation.
It's serious wounds and fatalities at stakenot "bites".

But...but...how is this *possible*?!?
“Kill ‘em all” was supposed to be the Final Solution to all dog bites in the known universe!
Do they mean to imply that the *owners* are [and probably always have been] the problem?
Preposterous!
/dripping s
Just imagine how much cold comfort the *good* owners must be feeling, following this astonishing revelation that ~their~ innocent dogs were wholesale slaughtered in cold blood.

“It’s serious wounds and fatalities at stakenot “bites”.”
According to the CDC, the amount of dog bite related fatalities has not risen (accounting for the increase in both human and dog populations) since pit bulls became popular. There are also several other places that have found pit bull bans to be useless, including Denver, Colorado and the UK (whose bites have risen significantly since their ban was enacted).
Calgary does not have breed specific legislation, but instead opted for responsible dog ownership laws that effect ALL dog breeds through the education and regulation of their owners. Since their legislation was enacted, they have seen a dramatic decrease in serious attacks from all breeds, as well as having an estimated 90% licensing rate for all dogs, which is amazingly high.

And what does it say about the US that even the Canadian style commies have figured *this* out?

It's a well known FACT that Pit Bulls have to be
taught to be aggressive.
Now - Hippos, on the other hand .....

Tsk! Tsk! Tske!
What kind of world do we live in, where you can’t even walk your pet croc across the river without fear of him being savaged by these “bred for one purpose” terrors?
There ought to be a LAW!
