*****************************************EXCERPT*************************************
Mr Tishkov, deputy head of the Geography Institute at Russian Academy of Science, said: 'What we have been watching recently is comparatively fast changes of climate to warming, but within the framework of an overall long-term period of cooling. This is a proven scientific fact.
'The recent warming - and we are talking tenths of a degree at most - is caused by human activity, like forest elimination, the changing of landscapes.
'The greenhouse gases so much discussed now do not in fact play big role. We have to remember that all the impact of industrial enterprises in Russia cannot be compared with one volcano eruption on our planet.'

Wonder if this scientist could testify before Congress......

Of course the folks at the IPCC, Hadley CRU, NASA and Penn State will all deny this, since the cherry-picked urban and discontinuously reporting Russian weather stations they include in the “models” will need to have their data “homogenized” for inclusion the “value-added” data set.

They have no interest.
Gorebal warming has nothing to do with CO2 or warming.
It has everything to do with command and control of society.

But, but, but...Jim Hansen and his GISS muppets said this was the warmest winter EVER...he even has graphics with big red blotches over siberia and the arctic in general to prove it.

If I recall correctly, the warmists have all along tried to hide or ignore data from Siberia.
Siberia, I would imagine, is lacking in the “hot spots” that global warming scientists like to put climate stations next to.

The COLD is caused by the Global Warming effect. That most mysterious of climate anomalies that allows one to blame any natural occurrence on the warming.

It must have been the greenhouse effect that froze the mammoth in Siberia, still with buttercups between their teeth...

I don’t think that they exist.
Having said that, what is the going price for a mammoth fur coat? My wife wants one.

No doubt-—the mammoth’s were a huge source of methane. Classified by the EPA as ten times more of a contributor to GW than CO2.
