I looked at the other replies and have to agree that this is a losing proposition. How old is this person? Her email doesn’t show that she’s had much of an education. She can spout talking points to a degree but if she thinks the VA has improved this much in what? a month - she’s not even thinking for herself. I believe they all learn the pat answers and that ends it for them.
I really wouldn’t waste my time - niece or no niece. I have sisters like that and we don’t even mention the word politics in our conversations - all phone conversations as I’m safely 1000 miles away from them.
You can pray that she gets it together before it’s too late. That’s about all we can hope and pray for at this point. I wouldn’t want to be around when these kids (I’m assuming that from her writing) learn what kind of a country they bought - and what they helped to destroy!
I think that is true about the pat answers. It sounds like she may have gotten the “talking points” from some Obama adoring friend and all she does is parrot what she was told.
