It would be a big deal if a Republican President had done something like this.

Bill Clinton's acquittal established that a Democratic President can lie in an investigation, even under oath, and get off scot-free.

Remember the abuse directed at Ken Starr for trying to run an honest investigation in 1998. It would be much worse for someone investigating Barack Obama.
