RE :” If Palin doesn’t run. That’s what you get. Romney is a done deal. #353....You guys want to give Romney the nomination...go ahead, but don’t think you’re going to get away with bitching about it. I’ll be here to tell ya “told ya so” #369

You clearly say above that if Palin doesn't run for president then we are stuck with Romney as candidate, possibly as president. But you are doing it in a way that sounds like sjb and mkj have the responsibility for Palin running (I have seen this argument before many times )when in reality they are likely to have little, if any, effect on the nomination.

But really your argument is putting a huge responsibility on Sarah Palin herself. It says that she MUST run for president, and effectively , or she it is she electing Romney, much more more-so than (our borderbots) mkj and sjb or even rabs.

My opinion is that Romney is the frontrunner and will win the GOP nomination. He has the Primary set up for a RINO, he has money, organization and huge establishment support.

Nobody is going to beat him because conservatives are divided and the conservative with the most support and chance to knock of Romney is Palin.

Those who incessantly attack Palin can do what they wish...but they won’t be crying about Romney without alot of input from me to remind them that they get an assist.

Hey, maybe I’m wrong in my assessment. Nah. watch.

MSM to Romney: “You have openly criticized President Obama, but wasn’t Romneycare more harmful than Obamacare? I mean Obamacare didn’t bankrupt the USA like you bankrupted the state of Massachusetts with Romneycare. Why should the American people replace Obama with Mitt Romney? “

Anyone can thump their chest and hoot and holler and scream “told ya so”

. At the end of the day it doesn't mean, nor count for a damn thing. But it makes the shouter and ranter feel better. BFD.

Ahhh there is a 'eureka' moment SoL, you didn't know that SJB and myself are conducting secret negotiations with the Palin campaign, she wants our support badly, and we're holding out for the best possible deal. For SJB, it's Ambassador to Japan, for me? It's Ambassador to the U.N., where my special brand of diplomacy will drive those SOBs off our soil inside of 30 days, I guaran-damn-tee it.

But really your argument is putting a huge responsibility on Sarah Palin herself. It says that she MUST run for president, and effectively , or she is electing Romney, much more more-so than (our borderbots) mkj and sjb or even rabs.

I don't know what Rabs is holding out for from Governor Palin, I suspect it's something like a special prosecutor appointment to investigate, indict and convict Juan McStain for crimes against conservatism.

Seriously however, don't underestimate the power of FReepers to change the course of political history in America, I cite two major examples:

The outing of Dan Rather's scam reporting in 2004.

The torpedoing of Mayor Rudy-Tooty in the campaign of '08.

And lightning CAN strike three times in the same place.
