Don’t think so.....as I’ve gotten older I am so much more of a biatch and I love it!!!!
BULLCRAP. One of my main objections to Palin is because I am a Christian:
Don’t forget to put this one in the same “Dumbest Post” contenst.
More misrepresentations from the fringes.
Welcome to FR.
“But as far as presidential candidate.. not so much! “
You’re in a minority here on FR, but thanks for your opinion.
“Duncan Hunter is Presidential, it is about Policy, attitude and experience......not an American Idol vote!”
Google elections.
You need to also have charisma and appeal to a majority of voters.
less than 3% guarantees 1% on the second run. I doubt if he runs again, but if he does, he’ll a small percentage of conservatives away from a conservative that has a chance.
...sound familiar...McCain.
Just don’t whine when we get Mittster as our establishment chosen nominee.
Sorry, but I disagree with a few of Sarah’s actions.
But you have bonefides as a fringer.
If you don’t like Sarah Palin as a candidate, then who? Romney, Huckabee, Pawlenty? Which one of them do you actually consider to be a conservative that we can count on? Demint and Ryan are not running so our options seem to be limited to squishy liberal Republicans or one libertarian that never gets support higher than single digits. If those are our options then I would prefer Sarah Palin go the third party route and give conservatives a choice. Why raise money and build excitement for candidates that will continue the same polices as the Democrats under the belief that that makes them “compassionate”?
Well maybe he can get a campaign manager that will put him on Dancing With the Stars that should get him some Charisma, don’t ya think....During the primaries, those overseas doing the heavy lifting sure did know about Hunter but I guess they don’t count, they don’t even count their ballots.....oh well, guess I’ll just have to go along..right? Fall in line and support Palin or else......
Support who you like...but ignoring charisma and appeal ignores major characteristics of leadership.
People are attracted to a natural leader. I like Hunter but he just doesn’t appeal to many people.
You just used the same tactics you decry.
Saul....
meet Alinsky
Hmmm, I know Army Rangers totally lack leadership qualities.
You're right, freedom of thought and expression should not be allowed on FreeRepublic. In fact, you should lead the Big Putsch.
Having served with Rangers when I was in the 82nd, I’d say Rangers are great leaders on patrolling, recon, ambush, and high value attacks.
He’s a great guy, a great patriot, somebody who I agree with on almost everything. I voted for him out of protest to McCain and Romney in the primary.
But he doesn’t appeal to many Americans that vote...that’s the reality.
This election, there is an actual conservative to vote for who has appeal and attacks Obama on an almost daily basis.
You lie and misrepresent. That is not presenting facts.
Her stance on illegals has been clear, “they are illegal”
When she announces she will post her exact policies and then you won’t be able to misrepresent any longer...cya after November.
“Id like to hear her say she opposes the Wall Street bailout, the McCain healthcare plan, (ironically, Obamas plan is closer to the one McCain campaigned on than the one Obama campaigned on),”
You see, that’s where some of us run into a problem with Palin and her supporters who ignore her own words.
Everyone is ‘waiting’ for her to ‘come out’ and oppose some things most of us really dislike. We’ve had dozens of threads about amnesty...no one can agree on what she says about that.
And she supports McCain’s vote on TARP.
Here is what Palin says in Going Rogue about the bailouts, on page 270.
“[T]he House of Representatives rejected a Bush-backed economic bailout plan in a vote in which two-thirds of Republicans voted no. The impression this made on the electorate was not helpful to our cause. Millions of Americans were poised to go bankrupt or lose their savings, and the perception was that Republicans had failed to respond.”

There’s that phrase again...’our cause’...
The problem some of us have with Palin/McCain is figuring out what ‘our cause’ means. The above quote, from Palin’s book, shows she approved of McCain’s vote for TARP.
Lies of omission are lies. You fail to post comments she has made stating opposition to illegal immigration.
When you look at the sum of her comments it is obvious that she is not for amnesty as she has stated numerous times...as you know.
