Hey, when my time comes and I see that light, if Jesus is standing there I am sure to humble myself and accept him.
See, that is so Buddhist, though I’m sure it makes no sense to some of you. When you see die and the truth is there, you have to go into the light.
No reference to Ghost Whisperer meant. Well, I am sorta making fun of that show. We will all meet our maker. Some of us will turn away. Some of us will find glory. I hope I believe enough to realize the truth when it comes to me.
I don’t fear death. There I go with the “I” again.

Chuck, Jesus draws you to Himself in His timing. He chooses you. If you feel Him drawing you to Himself, don't put it off until a time you think you will cross over, He died so you would not have to. He went to hell and burned your record of Karma so you would not have to stand in judgment for your sins or live a life here of bondage. The price of your karma has already been paid in full. Within His completed work for you, you are free to rest in Him.
You are in my prayers. Hope to see you around here more on FR, or at some of our Texas Conservative gatherings, as we labor to get O and his bunch out of our WH.

I rarely discuss my personal beliefs, because so often those who are convinced that THEY have all the answers are less than pleasant.
Intolerance is what I have seen often, rather than hatred. That, and arrogance, in that those of all faiths who truly believe that theirs is the only true faith often are so judgmental of others, so condescending to those who believe otherwise.
In my opinion, when it comes right down to it no one really knows, and that is why it is called faith. Faith is believing in something you cannot prove, but truly believe.
I don't have a label. I have my own beliefs that don't fit perfectly into any religion. So, I don't discuss them because I take hits from all sides.
I have seen several people on this site say that one cannot be a conservative without being a Christian. That always throws me for a loop.
