why do you think we have so many “professional” sports with congress sanction over-site...the Romans had their arenas and Chariot races...it is called distraction...keeping the peasants anger focused on sport rivalries instead of on washington where we are getting screwed while we are being distracted...it is not new to control of the masses by governments throughout history
