#36: re the pictures of “My Darline Clementine” 1946.

You forgot Ward Bond, one of the great anti-communist leaders of Hollywood, along with Reagan and John Wayne, in the 40’s & 50’s.

According to Hollywood friends/writers I know, John Wayne protected Ward Bond from the communists own “blacklist” of anti-communist actors. Wayne was unable to protect Adolph Majou (sp) and he was never able to really get a good role in Hollywood again.

Bond, according to a letter I have from him to a friend, led the protests against Communist Charlie Chaplin in the 50’s. One day I’ll post this letter for all to see.

If any of you Hollywood fans are interested in seeing this letter, contact me thru the Private Reply email and I’ll try to find it and send a copy to you.
