John was on heroin. Yoko was certainly a wedge between John and all 3 of the other members.
Ringo quit the band during The White Album because Revolution #9 got nearly 8 minutes of space and Ringo couldn’t get his songs on the album.
And then there were financial dealings. The band didn’t believe they were seeing all of the money and the operations had become largely financial. It’s Only A Northern Song is supposed to be a reflection on that. Piggies too.
Last thing I saw on it was that what had started out being John’s band was becoming Paul’s band. John didn’t like that and brought Yoko in as a vote on band decisions.
I think George quit and came back at one point too.
putting the lads aside ... I enjoy seeing a record label get ******!!
Record label still owes me $xx,xxx from the 70’s according to my books... they have their books rigged at $0.. so anytime any record label “GETS IT in the wallet”.. it kinda brings a smile to my face.
