"Gimme a break! Barbara Boxer didn't vote for Don't Ask/Don't Tell..." BTW, DA/DT was implemented as a military directive by then Commander-in-Briefs, Bill Clinton. Nobody in the Senate voted on the issue. President Obama could have rescinded this policy on the drive back from the Capitol on Inauguration Day, but instead is promoting a bill to "repeal" a non-existant law.

Check the Wikipedia article. It says it is a directive then talks about Clinton passing a bill. Which is it?
