Er, I know this is artistic license on the writer's part but I personally was never under that illusion.

Ask anyone who’s been married to a narcissist and they will tell you marriage to one makes you crazy. Your family and friends just can’t understand what’s so awful about the person as they seem okay to them. It takes a very long time to figure out that the problem isn’t you because a narcissist easily persuades, manipulates, and charms. Once all your self-esteem is gone, it’s very hard to get away from them, and you usually leave after many many years, usually decades, destitute, defeated, and broken.

This country is reacting as would the abused spouse in one of these relationships. We don’t understand completely what is wrong, we just know something terrible is happening. Oh, sure, we know Obama is a Marxist Commie, implementing his Commie ideas, and we know he’s not a natural born citizen and we know he’s hidden his past, but it’s hard to understand why we feel so embattled, why we feel we’re going crazy.

We speak to others who think everything is just peachy keen, or who say, “Oh, it’s not so bad,” but we KNOW it is bad but we don’t know how to explain it properly. This is the craziness that a narcissist brings upon those around him. In this case, the entire United States of America.

I sometimes wonder about Michelle, perhaps she has such a dour natural expression because she’s married to him. But it’s not uncommon for narcissists to marry another narcissist; maybe she’s one? I actually don’t think she is. I think having her husband as President has allowed her some freedom since he gets to use his skills on others. I sure feel for those kids, though. Every time I see them, I see darkness and pain. Those children have been through some tough times, it’s quite obvious from the looks on their faces.

That’s the problem with too many people. They want Santa Claus to ride to the rescue instead of handling their own problems.

In the absence of their willingness to come clean, we should dismiss them with prejudice. Because, as Obama continues to show, they aren't worthy of our respect and they certainly aren't worthy of being president.

Of course, to "dismiss with prejudice" is a legal term, used when the court dismisses the case and does not allow for it to be re-filed.

Had the writer not been black, you can bet the usual 'tards would be all over his use of this term.
