That's incorrect. Birthers, especially FReepers, need to stop perpetuating this Internet rumor.

Barack Obama's first Executive Order, 13489, was regarding the release of Presidential Records stored in the National Archives and maintained by the National Archivist. The National Archives do not maintain or administer the Hawaii vital records or university transcripts to which birthers want access.

Additionally, Obama's EO 13489 revoked Bush's EO 13233 on Presidential Records, which revoked Reagan's EO 12667 on Presidential Records.

Yeah, he doesn’t have the power to do that. He can issue the order, but like everything else he’s signed, it’s null and void.
