Cheese and Hagen Daz are my
medications of choice. LOL.
Have been training myself to one or two spoons of Hagen Daz at a time/day, however. . . . mostly . . . most of the time . . . except occasionally . . . like maybe when the soc sec check lands in the bank.
I could do that! As long as the "spoon" was about 1/3 of a cup big! ;^)
In my house when I was a kid, candy was strictly forbidden except for special occasions or Halloween; soda pop was never even around and we only got to drink it elsewhere on very special occasions (in a restaurant or at a party), and dessert (cookies, cake, pie) were ... well, dessert, after we finished dinner. But my wise, healthy mom (who has always been trim and never had a weight problem and whose five grown kids have never had weight problems either) always said ICE CREAM was okay. It was a treat, yes, but always okay; where we'd have a hard time convincing her to let us buy a candy bar at the zoo, for example, ice cream was just about always a "go."
So enjoy that Hagen Daz! Myself, I love Breyer's ... mint choc chip, neopolitan, and vanilla, in that order!
