This picture strikes me as deeply symbolic of us and our nation as we stand right now. My mind is swimming in parallels.

Apollo 13: at 1300 hours on April 13, the catastrophe occurred. I remember it; the entire world was on eggshells, even the USSR offered helped. Prayers were offered from every nation for our astronauts safe return.
One of the few times in history that the world was as one.
Now a goodly portion of the world cheered when the Columbia burnt up because one of its astronauts was an Israeli.
