HELP!! I need help with some creative 1 - 3 liners to quip back to ultra dem friends on Facebook. Nothing too offensive. My 13 year old son attended the DC Tea Party today (with school permission from one of Maryland's ONLY republican counties - an oasis in this state for sure)and I am getting flamed by liberal friends; they are REALLY tree-hugging liberals!. Usually, I do not take on these folks because they ARE friends. However, some are just so "holier-than-thou" and I would love some sensible quips to toss back to them and their tax-loving comments. If their spelling and grammar are any indication of the public schools in Colorado, they SHOULD be shut down.
I’d probably be more inclined to use sarcasm and say something like: “Yeah, thank God for Obama, now everything’s coming up rainbows and unicorns.” or “You are just so gosh darn smart. What would we do without your trenchant commentary?” or “I didn’t know “Regan” ruined this country. Wow, how enlightening, thanks for sharing.”
The only Republican District in Maryland is MD 6 [Washington, Allegeny, and Garrett Counties]. The Maryland House delegation is 7-1 DEM.
The Eastern Shore [MD 1] is a Republican District, but the incumbent GOP was beaten in the primary and got so pissed off that he backed the DEM [Kratovil] in the general election. Kratovil won - barely.
Kratovil has proven to be so much of an Obamabot that he's gonna be bounced in November. So, it will likely be 6-2 in the House next January, unless a couple of DEMs can be knocked off in other districts ...
If all else fails - you can use the old standby:

Steven Earl “oil companies” hedge energy, not just black stuff that bubbles out of the ground and goes into making plastics. If other forms of energy production were as efficient as fossil fuels, they would invest in those instead. Even had the possibility of being a viable power source a few years down the road.

I’ve applied a patient tactic. I waited for them to exhaust themselves. much like a kid that won’t listen - I let him pout and resist until he got tired - then the liberal will make a mistake (Any mistake.. even a spelling error will suffice). Once I know they are tired, I’ll unleash with an irrefutable fact . At that point I control the situation. I am willing to bet that follow-up comments to this this morning will bring the other liberal participants into my “classroom”.
And regardless of the other comments, everyone involved in that comment is an Assachussetts liberal.
This method makes you come off as quiet, calm and reserved. You’re going to just wait for them to make a mistake.

I’m waiting for the images of the type that target overly sensitive people that feel they have to correct all the wrong people on the internet.
I have never used facebook and don’t feel any need for it, I don’t see why its a requirement nowadays.
Since you can't possibly be there to provide coaching, perhaps you can give him a few stock "exit" phrases to use. If his friends say, "we think Obama is a saint and his policies rock!" Teach your son to say something like, "I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that." My original advice still stands...if he can't yet make a succinct and cogent argument, don't be goaded into a no-win situation.
Same here...most of my remarks to Libs involve their un-natural sexual relations to their mothers and/or farm animals.
Tell them to keep their Fundamentalist Democrat views to themselves.
Barack Obama says we need to spread the wealth around. He took in $5.5million in declared income last year and gave less than 6% of it to charity.
He says we are our brother’s keeper. His half brother lives in a lean-to shack.
Michelle Obama says we can’t just eat hamburgers and fries. We need to penalize those who eat poorly.
Barack Obama outlawed all flavored cigarettes (except menthol) and candy cigarettes. He still smokes despite his claim that he quit before going on the campaign trail.
They need to stop dictating to US how to live and try to adopt their own platform in their OWN lives first.
