I really think there are probably many more of these hybrids than anyone realizes. Those grizzly sows are sluts! ;-D

Saw the documentary about the first one that was shot. The guy got into some trouble at first with the Canadian authorities because he was only licensed to kill a polar bear.

Two friends out in the woods saw a grizzly bear heading their way. One started to run away but stopped in shock when he saw his buddy stop, sit down, and put on his running shoes.

“What are you doing? You can’t outrun a bear! Let’s find a tree to climb!”

His friend finished lacing his shoes, stood up, and said, “I don’t have to outrun the bear. All I have to do is outrun you.”
