No, northeastern girl. That's typically backwards. That's the end that a proper handload from a large bore will come out of a large, attacking bear. Shoot 'em in the front, and the 300 grains of wide, flatnosed lead comes out the back (or close to it, depending on what the round hits along the way). ...works for other varmints, too, where nothing's in the backdrop.
