Snap.
I said nothing about your prayers, read what I wrote not what you think I wrote...Compassion is not prayers, its how we relate to those that have lost a child or other family member...
I do agree that a 12 year old with any large dog outside is idiotic....My best friend got bitten on the stomach while a 10 year old sat on the porch and watched it..Stupid also and they were my next door neighbors, the one that got bite was my good friend their other neighbor.
My friend was 5 foot tall (a shorty :O) and if had been a pit instead of a sheltie she probably would have been dead.
I neither care to know or want to know anyones prayer life. You read that into my post that wasn't there...try reading it again and find prayer in it...if you do, I would apologize as its none of my business.....
I have to wonder what meds were given to a 16 yo Mom,,,
I'll defer to the women who have given birth and are in
pain from child birth from that,,,
Other women who have never had a baby can just STFU!!!,,,
This 9yo will have to have high dollar care to fix his face...
BULLSHIT!!!...
Then why do you need breed specific legislation?
~~~
For the weak and helpless,,,
Just like the 9yo kid that was mauled,,,
Do you want to pay his med bills ?...
A noble intention, but you can’t protect people taking away their freedom.
Saw your page,,,Welcome Home,,,
Shep's are one of my faves,,,
They guarded my life in 67-68...
A noble intention, but you cant protect people taking away their freedom.
Well,,,I can’t have an alligator or a tiger or a bear...?
My best buddy over there trained most of the trackers and sentry dogs used in II Corps. I met him while we were both on a MACV team.
That’s why you got my hackles up with your “spit on us in the 60’s” comment the other day.
How about a Hippo?!?
Fun for the whole neighborhood!
I think the question to ask is, do laws prohibiting tiger ownership actually protect children?
I would bet they trained on Hon Tre Island at the
U.S. Army K-9 Corps where I was for my first 4-5 months
in-country with the 18th CE!,,,Small World,,,
I got my young ass chewed Boo-Koo for feeding the nOObs
through the fence,,,
Went from there to the 8/26 Arty...
We served together on MACV Team 14, Phu Quoc Island (IV Corps.) He was transferred to Hon Tre. I was reassigned to a team out of MACV HQ Tan Son Nhut.
that will eat/kill them but that's just me,,,
While he is not “kin” one is back in Iraq with the
2nd.BCT.10th.Mt.Div.18th.AB Corps but that is his choice...
When my Staffordshire showed up and adopted me, I had one lady who said I was “so brave” for taking her into our home. The only ones who have a problem with her are the cats (who will stand on her head and scratch the heck out of her if they can get to her). Our biggest issue is that she might knock out my knee by headbutting my leg with her blockhead.
Cats got guts!....:))
Right now, my dog is going through his “Doberteens” and in spite of being only 9 months old and still very much a puppy, he’s a HUGE puppy with a head the size of a small pony’s.
[and a body to match]
He just can’t understand *why* “mommy” can’t lap-cuddle him anymore or why she dives for cover when he runs across the yard full-tilt and jumps up to give her a neck-hug and smoochies.
True, he may kill me some day but it ~won’t~ be intentionally...he’ll just klutz me to death...LOL
Succinct, at least.
