Interesting...

So, in a few months the schedule will change to possibly this:

Plante & Nehman 5-9a
Scarborough & Mika 9-12p
Rush 12-3p
Hannity 3-6p
Levin 6-9p

On a side show, I’m not a fan of Joe’s, and, in fact, I find Mika Brzezinski far more refreshing and — GASP! — even more conservative than Joe in some areas. It’s sad when I see myself agreeing more with Mika than with Joe.

It PAINS me to see Plante so early in the morning...

Well, that seems to be all we've got now!

Confirmed: Grandy Gone From WMAL

I listened just a few minutes this morning and quickly determined that Plante's brand of very dry humor/cynicism/irony simply isn't my cup of tea for early mornings -- even though I liked him a lot when he was in the 10 a.m. spot.

Moreover, I also thought the Plante-Grandy mix of last week worked reasonably well. Not too bad!

But today it seems that the pre-noon WMAL sked is rudderless -- drifting in stormy waters, with no land in sight.

In particular, I'd say Plante's pairing with Brian Neuman (sp?) isn't exactly a match made in Heaven. I'll bet the station's ratings will soon sink even lower than the most recent Grandy-Andy level. Therefore, it's probably a safe bet that the current line-up won't last for long.
