Posse Comitatus ?
My question too. I know the Constitution means nothing to these people but it’s really hard (but far from impossible) to believe they are this stupid/arrogant/suicidal (take your pick).

Is a truly irrelevant act; the Constitution supersedes it and ascribes to congress the power of “[To provide for] calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”
Notice the part about to ‘execute the laws of the Union’.

As I show above there is considerable weight to the claim that the government CAN [and even should] use the military to enforce its laws. {However, that reading ALSO authorizes the military to lay siege to these “sanctuary cities,” forcibly extracting the leadership thereof and trying them for Treason.}
That is probably why the founders wanted no standing Army and set it up so that any military action over 2-years requires Congressional approval/funding.
