Great show...going to miss Phil Harrison, he didn’t take care of his health but he certainly worked his butt off and didn’t deserve to die that young.

May I take this moment as a public service announcement to remind our beloved readers -

stop smoking
see your doctor
get your high blood pressure, high cholesterol treated
be serious about your diabetes
exercise now and then

Phil was a great guy to watch thats for sure.
I feel bad for his crew and his family.
But a stroke when your 53 is not uncommon - and its really unfortunate.

50% of what ultimately gets us is some manifestation of artery disease, either a stroke or heart attack; and we can reduce risk factors and improve outcomes very effectively.

Arteriosclerosis - the deadliest disease.

The only person I have run into randomly that I served in the Army with is a female from Alaska who worked with her father on one of those boats. She had fallen in with a bad crowd when she lived in Arkansas with her mom. Drinking, drugs, promiscuity. Her mom had her fill of her and sent her to Alaska with her dad. Her dad put her ass to work on the boat and she says it was the best thing that ever happened to her and she would have never set her life right if she had not worked there.

She was one of the toughest and hardest working soldiers I ever had in my squad.
