I really do think that who he sleeps with, or doesn’t sleep with is any of the publics business. Granted; he is multi million dollar golfer, leader, and a lot of people look up to him. We still shouldn’t pass judgement on him for his actions that so many of us humans do. We should not hold his sex life against his ability to play golf. Everyone makes mistakes and has fallacies. I know Tiger to be a good man, his father was an ex-Special Forces operator, and Tiger has done several clinics for veterans and their families.
“Good men” don’t cheat on their wives.
What about him brining home STDs or possibly AIDS to his innocent wife? A “good man” does not do something like that. The STDs could give his wife cervical cancer or worse. Golf is not the NBA too.
Do not think that is the issue; his 'playing' golf. It IS about marketing himself/selling himself; which to do so;he must carry a branded, positive, 'hero'-like image.
Tiger easily cultivated the perception; just not the reality. Golfer's like everyone else have failings. But there are limits to one's reality. Golf is a 'Gentleman's sport'; and your behavior should not scream otherwise. If you 'play' around; or have other issues; you had better be discrete and not stupid.
Tiger lost on stupid.
Tiger did not make mistakes. The adultery was deliberate, and he was the one who chased the women. No, not everyone is okay with betraying his wife with 16 or more women and possibly passing STD to her. And the lies! If he cheats on those who love him, he is likely to cheat also on his golf game (like taking steroids). No, Tiger is not a good man.
Speak for yourself, FRiend. It has been ages since I screwed my neighbor's 21-year-old daughter. Actually, I've NEVER screwed my neighbor's daughter.
